Tabe Burka (Guji) natural
Guji is a wild and mountainous region south of Sidama a few hours, planted with 2 “project” or “JARC” varieties of arabica (some locals will tell you there’s also a 3rd variety “Gujicha”, or “the local one”).
This natural Guji is very sweet, delicate and pretty, with candied fruits and florals. For the filter version, we decided to roast on the lighter side, due to the pronounced sweetness. For the espresso version, there’s obviously much more body, but the florals and candied fruits are still present.
This lovely Guji was sourced by the Belco team; see their analysis in the photo section.
